Michael J Siller"Born out of my passion for all styles of interior design and a desire to share that with clients, I established Michael J. Siller Interiors in 1987. First, located in the historic River Oaks Shopping Center, my client list has continued to grow. I now have clients all over the United States, Mexico, and Europe and a diverse portfolio. It includes primary residences, high rise condominiums, beach houses, ski resorts, ranches, lake houses, as well as commercial projects from restaurants to boardrooms. Foremost, in my mind, is the need to build and foster lasting relationships with my clients. Three decades of design experience inspired me to expand my vision to a broader audience. And Dream By MJS Interiors was created." Larry Hokanson"Growing up in a suburb of Chicago, I always had a love of sculpture and oil painting. With a degree in Fine Arts, I first worked at Edward Fields, the revered custom rug creator. Eventually, I became Vice President of the company. After 19 years, I started my own custom rug venture Hokanson. The enterprise quickly grew from 2 employees to 300. With showrooms all over the US, we provided superior custom carpets and rugs to an elite clientele. Now I’ve combined forces with Michael Siller to form Dream By MJS Interiors. It is our brainchild to bring interior design to a broader segment of society. Now I utilize my expertise to serve as a financial backer and chief Financial Consultant." Septra Shiner"Creating has always been a part of my spirit. As a girl of eight, I made my first design decision. Using a lovely chiffon fabric from a dress I wore to my cousin’s wedding, I fashioned it into a new covering. A drab headboard was transformed, and I was hooked. I’m a native Houston and studied Interior Design at The Art Institute of Houston. There, I gained knowledge of Architecture, Interior Design History, Space Planning, and CAD. At Dream By MJS Interiors, I revel in a variety of design styles. However, I believe that a client’s home should reflect the essence of the people occupying it, and always rise above fads. For me, interior design is the perfect melding of form, function, and aesthetics, above all client relationships." Courtnie Kocurek"As an interior designer, I take pride in my ability to transform spaces by bringing ideas and inspirations to life, focusing not only on aesthetics but also on functionality. Creativity in design is key, but attention to detail is important, finding creative ways to help clients design their dream spaces. Graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, I earned a BS degree in Interior Design and Hospitality Administration. After college, I worked at Michael J. Siller Interiors. When Michael started his new project, Dream by MJS Interiors, I was made the Executive Design Coordinator for Dream as well. Outside of design, I enjoy being a wife and mother, spending time with family, baking, traveling, and reading a good book."
