PARK CITY
Location: PARK CITY, UT
This kitchen is a complete custom design in a beautiful mountain retreat. This Park City home is on a 17-acre ski-in ski-out property, and is full of modern lodge ambiance. We wanted a very stylish but functional family kitchen juxtaposed to the log and rock interiors. The home is inspired by a 1930’s Yosemite home replete with wood beams in deep natural tones. The tumble granite flooring is placed irregularly and has tiny striations that give it character. The floor material was specifically honed to the desires of the client.

The Results
The custom marble backsplash was hand etched and placed individually in a unique array both horizontal and vertical. The ceruse finished kitchen cabinetry is custom made, just right for this special home. The counter tops are Taj Mahal quartzite with extraordinary veining that creates an elegant appearance of movement. Floating stainless steel shelving was installed symmetrically to showcase a vast array of dishware. The pendant fixtures are centered beautifully above the island, featuring the hand-blown bubble glass and Edison bulbs. The stools are custom made in white leather. This fabulous fun kitchen is incomparable in every aspect and a beautiful example of modern lodge interior design. We absolutely adore working with clients that are willing to risk trying something different. The results are daring, but feel like home.
